Innovation and Inspiration to Make a Difference
The Children’s Cove Champions for Children Conference is an informative and innovative multidisciplinary conference offering workshops presented by many nationally recognized experts in the field of child abuse, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, domestic violence, trafficking and exploitation, and prevention. The Champions for Children Conference is one of the premiere child maltreatment conferences in the country and will provide professionals in the field with extensive and innovative insight to assist child victims and families in their community. The Children’s Cove Champions for Children Conference is not affiliated with other conferences using the same or similar names.
Who Should Attend
The conference is conducted for the sole purpose of providing training to only those people who work directly with child victims of crime, whose intent is to help children in their healing process, and who are employed by governmental and nonprofit agencies in the fields of law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, social work, children’s advocacy, therapy, probation and medicine. Those who do not work in the fields stated above, may not attend the training unless the respective company is supporting the conference through sponsoring or exhibiting. The management of the conference reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual who does not meet these criteria. Individuals without an official Champions for Children Conference name badge will not be permitted to the workshop sessions.
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)
Continuing professional education credit has been applied for
on behalf of the following groups:
• Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association (LMHC)
• National Association of Social Workers (LICSW)
• Conference attendees who wish to receive CEUs MUST check in at CEU desk for credits.
• You will not receive CEUs if payment is not received.
• Partial session credits are not offered.
• CEU applicants must sign in at the beginning of the conference and sign out at the end of each day in order to receive credit hours.
• Certificates of attendance will be offered free of charge at the conclusion of each day.
• Registration fees do not include payment for Continuing Education Credits.
Nursing Contact Hours
Cape Cod Healthcare (PA #158) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by American Nurses Association Massachusetts, Inc., an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation
In order to receive contact hours, attendees must sign the course roster, stay for the entire program, and submit a completed evaluation form at the end of class.

Certificates of attendance will be offered free of charge at the conclusion of each day.

Please include payment by credit card or agency purchase order with your registration. Registration includes entrance into all workshops, entrance into the Networking Reception, breakfast on both conference days and lunch on Thursday. Registration does not include payment for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs). Please review the refund policy before registering. Entrance to the conference will not be permitted without an online credit card payment or agency purchase order. Name badges will be received at check in and must be worn throughout the conference for admission into workshops.
If you need to cancel your conference registration, you must do so by September in order to guarantee a full refund. Your request must be submitted in writing to email@example.com. No refunds will be given after September. No exceptions to this policy can be considered as our funds are fully committed to the production of this conference.
All refunds paid by purchase order will be mailed at the conclusion of the conference. Any refunds paid by credit card will be processed upon receipt of written request if eligible for a refund. You may substitute another qualified attendee from your agency without any additional fee at any time.

The host hotel for this year’s conference is the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Hyannis, MA
Conference registration fees do not include hotel rooms.

3. Enter in number of adults and children and click “Add Special Rate Codes”
4. In the “Group Code” field, enter in the three letter code: CHI

6. Click Select next to the Group Name to start the reservation process and complete your booking
In the event the DoubleTree is sold out, lodging at the Holiday Inn will be available.

Please print any conference materials you may need prior to the conference. Please note that in our efforts to “Go Green”, there will be no presenter handouts available. Presenter handouts will be available by emailing the presenter directly and only if approved to be released by the presenter.
